Emperor's Addiction Chapter 3.2 (with story attached this time)

This time I should post the story too, huh.

That would make a lot of sense.

(hitting the top of my head)

Duh!

i starting to wonder if God is trying to tell me something whenever he makes my car breaks down whenever the gas prices goes up.

This time three valves of the four valve cyclinder stop working and the timing belt broke. I figure by next car, I'll be an official mechanic, LOL.

But catching the bus really isn't that bad for me and now the kids are getting acclamated to it... yes, even the baby.

She keeps asking when are we fixing the car, but I keep asking her why is she complaining since she can ride the bus for free.

My stimulus doesn't come until July so I wasn't even in the market and in about a week the kids are out of school. I'll just need rides to book events and so forth but other than than I really am okay. The price of bus fare hasn't changed, which is a good thing.

Nothing else is strange on the homefront except I keep having this re-occuring dream about staying in a house that's way too big with ugly gaudy furniture on the second floor that no one goes in.

Is that a sign or a metaphor?

enjoy...

Emperor knew she was behind him the whole time. He was so damn aware of her presence if she breath hard the hairs on his neck would vibrate. He was grateful for the underwear he wore because it was almost hiding the hard-on, but damn if the elastic was digging in his skin.

Leading her through the kitchen, she was taken out the back door of the house to a small bungalow style home that was connected to the two-car garage. He opened the door and led her in.

Reese could tell the furniture was new and the walls had been freshly painted.

"You just did this?" she asked amazed.

Emperor tried to hide the blush, yet seeing the pleasure in her eyes, felt so good. "I made some calls and got somebody in here to straighten up the place. I never furnished it and until now it wasn't being used. My ex and I broke up and we were going to try to stay in the same house together, but she said she couldn't sleep in my bed anymore." His tone was remorseful as he admitted. "I built this back here for her, just so she could stay, so we could continue to give Eartha a two parent home."

"It didn't work, did it?" she asked, feeling bad about how he had tried to make his marriage work.

He shook his head with a slightly painful disappointed look. "No, it didn't. I blame myself all the way. I hurt her too bad."

"I didn't mean to bring up hurtful memories, sir."

"You didn't Reese. Like I said, it's not you." He handed her an envelope. "There's the key to this place. I'm the only one that has a spare so it's really all yours and you can just use the side entrance to come in. There's an electronic opener in the envelop that opens the gate and the garage which is small enough to attach to a key chain. You can park your car in the garage just in case you don't want it on the street for your mother to see." He gave her a sneaky wink.

Reese couldn't tell if he was being nice in nature, or was this just a pity party in her favor. The latter would not sit well with her. She didn't want his compassion if that was the case.

"It'll be good if you come here the first Thursday of the month, because my mechanic comes over and does work on my car to keep it in good shape. Red will take a look at yours too." He rubbed his neck and frowned more. "Would you like me to show you around?"

She shook her head because he had that sheen of sweat on his forehead again with a great deal of agitation in his voice. "No, sir, I'll be fine. Thank you."

"Like I said, just obey my school hangout rule, no guests when I'm not here and even when I am, ask my permission first."

"I don't have any friends, Mr. Heart," she admitted.

He bit his tongue wishing she had a lot more than what she had now. "My cell phone and pager number are written on the envelope and the house phone number too. There's a phone line in the house and there is a back up cell phone in the kitchen cabinet. You can use it whenever you want or in emergencies since you have a pre-pay phone."

"How did you know I had a prepay phone?" she asked suspiciously.

"I'm in communications, Reese," he said obviously.

Reese wondered what else he had done to find out about her. Other than that, she was speechless and overwhelmed at what he had done to the place.

Em twitched his lip and licked them, gritting his teeth from the pain inching up his back. He had aggravated his spine seriously these past few weeks working out harder than he had ever done before in his life just to get rid of the pent up energy. It wasn't working, but the pain kept him focused.

"Are you okay?" she asked with concern.

"I'm fine. I'm just... He reached out and leaned on the door as a streak of pain shot up the side of his back. "Uncomfortable," he said finishing his sentence. At least it wasn't just in his pants anymore.

"Are you hurt?" she inquired, taking a step to him.

He knew his body wouldn't care about the pain if she stepped any closer. "I'm fine," he said, stepping. "I'll be in my office. I'll leave the kitchen doors unlocked when I'm here." He paused to get control of himself, really wishing his manhood would quit growing because the elastic was cutting off the circulation in his thighs yet again. "When you're not here, it'll be locked, but just write a grocery list and I'll make sure the kitchen in here is stocked as well."

"You really have done too much, sir."

Em shrugged. "It's not a problem." Turning around, he winced in sharp distress.

"It's your back," she guessed. "What's wrong with your back?"

"I aggravated an old injury. I'll be fine," he assured her, but nothing he knew he could take would make it all go away. The pain had been with him too long.

"I could try," Reese shyly offered.

Looking over his shoulder at her, he frowned hard. "What could you do?" he asked in pure disbelief.

"My mother used to work as a masseuse... and although she rarely did them, there was this woman who used to watch me, while my mother worked and she knew how to do them real well." Cracking her knuckles. "What could it hurt?"

            "My back could be worse."

She couldn't help, but laugh and covered her mouth with embarrassment. "I wasn't laughing at you," she admonished, taking his hand in hers. "Please let me try. It's the least I could do."

Em was mystified at that beautiful laugh she had graced him with. She had the laugh that would make a man want to make her do all the time. He allowed her to guide him to a chair in the dining room.

"Straddle the chair, she ordered, "And get as comfortable as you can get."

He moved with ease so use to the hot pain in his back, but gritting his teeth so he wouldn't wince. "Should I take off something?"

"No. I don't have any oil so the clothes will help with the feel of it," she said, sitting in another chair behind him. "Try to relax as best as you can."

Her fingers were firm and amazingly strong as she kneaded the muscles on his nape. Em was glad he was sitting with his back to her because she couldn't see the hardness, which now pressed against his pants in a perfect outline stretching down the middle of his thigh. He put his arm on top of it to hide it in case she leaned over.

Concentrating, she remembered all of Lela's instructions as if the fat woman was standing right to next to her. With a rhythm, Reese was able to work each muscle until it was nothing but putty in her hands. When she reached the spot she knew was bad, because his muscles were way too tight, she leaned up against him.

He could feel her breast press up against his back and her head dipped forward. "When I say take a deep breathe, could you do it?" she asked as she wrapped an arm around his waist. The side of her body pressed against the side of his back, while her other palm pressed against his spine firmly rubbing downwards slowly.

"Yes," he said breathlessly, hoping he could keep it together enough so she wouldn't notice the twitching in his pants.

            "Now," she hissed sharply.

Just as he took the deep breath, an earth-shattering ache jolted his body, but that lasted a second as the room began to spin as if there was blood draining out his back. Had she stabbed him? No, it didn't feel this good to be stabbed. His eyes were closed so tight and... was that him making that moaning noise? His face was leaning over the chair as she released her arm around his waist and massaged his entire back. It felt like he was breathing fresh air and all the pain was... gone.

"W-What did you do?" he asked, keeping his eyes closed, relishing in her touch and what she had done to him.

"You had a partial slip disc and it was pressing up against a blood vessel. I shifted it and once I got the rest of the muscles relaxed, it slipped right back in place," she explained, still moving her fingers over the brawny muscles on his back.

"Oh damn, fuck!" He covered his mouth, cursing more for cursing in front of her. "I'm sorry. I'm not used to talking... fuck." He slipped again as she found a muscle he knew for sure had never been touched before.

She giggled. "It's alright. Lela said I was a good student."

"She was damn right. You learn very well."

Proudly she said, "I'm a fast learner and I like to learn new things. Lela was a smart woman and good at what she did."

He groaned, wishing he hadn't thought about teaching her new things.

"Does it still hurt?" Reese asked, resting her hands on his broad shoulder.

Em raised his head amazed at how relax and good it felt for the first time in a long time. "No, Reese. I should go." He stood up. "Thanks. You just don't know how good it feels."

            She playfully saluted. "Any time."

He went to the door and looked back at her keeping his body from facing her. "Are you sure about that offer?"

Haughtily, she said, "The offer is always open, sir. Any time."

Em left out before he decided to try to offer something more.

As soon as he was gone, she looked around the place. There was the spacious front room, which combined the living and dining area together with the kitchen as well, but there was a counter top to separate the kitchen from the other space. Off to the side was the bathroom and the other side there was a full size bed with a dresser, television, DVD/VCR combo, and stereo system. There were balcony doors that led to another smaller Jacuzzi hidden away from the rest of the house.

She couldn't believe that he had offered this too her, but she hoped she had made it up to him by giving him her best massage. Lela's instructions had come back to her just like old times - As if the old woman was standing behind her tell her exactly what to do and how to do it - even though Reese hadn't done that in a long time.

*          *            *

Em watched the house from the kitchen doorway sipping on a gin and coke. He knew she couldn't see him if she came outside because it was furthest away from the balcony doors, but he couldn't become satisfied with just knowing she was close to him. He had to see her.

Twitching his back, feeling damn good that the pain was gone, he smiled to himself. Did she know what she had done for him? Hell, no back specialist had cured him like this. Whatever the hell she had done, he would have paid a million bucks to get.

Yet, her modest ass didn't even ask for payment. Instead, she was saying thank you for a little hole in the damn wall?

As soon as he had left the bungalow, he had gone straight to the bathroom and relieved the sexual pressure inside of him. This time had been almost as intense, but that feeling she was with him, wasn't even though she was just thirty feet away.

Reese stepped out of the door to the bungalow and went to the pool. He tried to think of a good excuse to be out at the pool and not working, but once he thought of that, what kind of conversation could he possibly carry on with someone so young? What was she interested in? Dammit, why hadn't he talked more to Eartha about her interest?

Putting the drink down, he picked up two lemonades out the fridge and walked out to the pool area where she was bending down and touching the cool water. It was going into fall and not really hot outside. But he liked to try to get a midnight swim whenever he could to exercise and to stay in shape.

"That'll be covered soon," he said, giving her a brief startle.

She stood up with a very uncomfortable look on her face. "I didn't hear you," she admitted.

"Sorry," Em said, offering her the lemonade. "I always cover it by the fall. I can still use this Jacuzzi though all winter long once I set the screen up that leads straight from the balcony. It's heated so I don't have to worry about covering up."

"Must be nice." She averted her eyes away from him just as she had done when he had first seen her.

Did she have an aversion against black men all together?

He was dying to know the answer to this question, but he didn't want to come right out and ask her. Why didn't she look at him the same way other females looked at him? Instead of addressing this he continued to speak and watch her closely to see what else she was going to do to show any kind of abhorrence toward him. "The one at the bungalow is just the same, but yours is better because it's right by the bedroom. Karen designed them." Her attention seemed to perk up a little when he spoke about his ex-wife and he thought that was curious that now turned to look at him. "She redesigned the house after we divorced for me. She had great skills in that department." It felt awkward talking to someone so young about his ex-wife, but Reese listened with honest interest. She seemed very mature, though outwardly she looked very young. In his nervousness, he swallowed down all the lemonade in four large gulps.

"It's not mine," she said suddenly.

            "What?"

"That place - the bungalow. You said yours is better. I couldn't have something like that, Mr. Heart. I probably never will."

"Is that your mother talking or you, Reese?" he asked with great disappointment.

It was her mother's voice in her head that always said she wouldn't amount to anything if she didn't do as Juanita wanted her to do and having a bungalow anywhere near Emperor Heart would never be the case. Reese didn't know any other way to think when it came to her self-confidence and even thought she knew Juanita was just trying to make her feel bad, Reese had conformed to thinking she wouldn't amount to a hill of beans. There were things she wanted, but she didn't know how to obtain it; not without Juanita telling her what she needed to do or controlling her so much that she only did what her mother wanted her to do.

Sipping her lemonade to avoid answering his question, she looked down at the water wishing she could just fall in and avoid this whole conversation. Why did she have to say things like that – showing how weak willed she was to him?

"When you speak to me, Reese, talk with me, not through your mother. She isn't here and I thought that was the reason why you came here," he said in his stern "Daddy" voice.

"I came here because..." 'I wanted a way to get close to you,' her mind screamed. Instead, her lips said, "I did want to get away from her, but she's so there and always saying things like that, I find it hard not to speak like her."

Em changed the subject. "Can you swim?"

"No," she admitted. "Mother says I don't need to learn to swim since a lady shouldn't go around scantily clad like that."

He pulled out his wallet and took out a gold credit card. "So you don't have a swimming suit?"

Shaking her head, she raised that brow gain as he handed her the card. "What's that for?"

"Buy yourself a suit and anything else you would like. You can leave it here and any time you want to get in the water, you can do so. Just leave the credit card and receipts on the counter in the house and I'll get it later."

"No," she said firmly. "I won't let you buy me things, Mr. Heart. That's not your responsibility."

Emperor had never been refused and the feeling of a female saying no to him was quite different. "I insist," he said, pressing the card to her hand.

Reese stepped back looking offended. "No. I can't do that. You've already done too much. I should go."

This time he didn't stop her from leaving and wondered if she would come back. Going in the bungalow, he saw the envelope in a drawer, but it was empty of all its contents. That was a good sign, he hoped.

Hey Sylvia is Reese's age 16 for sure? And what did Em do to his back?? Great post. Been so busy had a few chapters to read to catch up. Keep up the great work.

Good post, Sylvia. I still want Reese's 18th birthday to be yesterday, because the age difference is what's blocking me from getting too far into their attraction.

I know with some people and in some parts of the world, an older man messing with an underage girl is acceptable. But having lived the nightmare of being touched inappropriately at a young age, I just can't get with that. I mean, if a man wants a young girl that bad, love her enough to at least wait until she's 18 (I don't care how consenting she is).

But hey, like I said, that's just me and my issues.

Anyhoo...

I'm gonna hang in here with you and the story because I know you always work things out eventually, though you sure do push the envelope. lol.

Suprina

P.S. In the previous post, you mentioned Em's clothes twice only 2 paragraphs apart. Was that intentional? Or was it one of those author Oops?

Sylvia Hubbard said...

to say Reese's age now would be telling the story, but i'm trying to push buttons yet like i said in the beginning i'm not nasty.

and yes suprina, that was an author's oops.

Em is being nice and it's funny. I don't think he knows how to be nice. I am still trying to feel Reese. She is to timid for me and I already want her to grow some balls and have back bone. When is Eartha coming back in the picture? That girl was funny in the first chapter. Great Post.

Lilo, Woody Allen did that mess. I don't look at his movies today because of that. Not that I ever did. lol.

I'm still conflicted about listening to R. Kelly's music. Trying to see if he's 'really' guilty first before outright boycotting him. It don't look so good for the brotha.

Anyhoo, I agree that Reese shouldn't have taken the money. With some men, that's a test to see if you are a gold-digger. If you prove that you're not all about the money in the early days of the relationship, then you stand to get more from the man in latter days. At least that's been my experience.

Personal truth: Hubby gives me his whole paycheck now because I've proven myself trustworthy over the years. He knows I'm not trying to break him or take advantage. Plus I'm just as generous with him, so it all balances out in the end.

I think Reese will gain Em's trust the same way. I hope...you never know...this is Sylvia's show. Anything's bound to happen. lol. Can't wait!

Sup, that was Woody Hall wasn't it?

And if i reveal her age now to you, I'd be telling the story wouldn't ?

Tori, i keep telling myself that it's good I'm getting it late, and I'll just spend it on a junker that will get me to the next big check. (Hopefully that will be a nice publishing deal.) Before the car broke down, it only took $30 - it was a Honda.

Wow this story is very interesting. I like it. My gut feeling is Reese age between 20-25. She graduate from high school working in the office. Reeseis taking community college class to be a teacher. The saddest thing I have read is when Reese state she has no more feelings for her mother.

Unknown said...

I'm going to agree with Cinquetta. I think Reese is definitely legal and is mistaken for a high-schooler because of her demeanor and size.

And I think her mom keeps her close by threatening to not support her higher learning expenses--which is a really crappy thing to do to your child.
