Knowing that Dyson wasn’t one to make idle threats, she called the number she had memorized, but rarely ever used.
A recorded voice similar to her own came on, “Hi you’ve reached my voicemail. Leave a message and I’ll return the call.”
Speaking slowly, she recited the number where she was and then added, “Call me now. It’s an emergency.”
Hanging up the phone, Melissa noted she had less than three minutes to get back in the
The phone rung.
“I told you not to call me that, Melissa.”
“We don’t have time for this. I need to-“
“I’m glad you called,” Penelope said. “I needed to speak to you.”
“I have to say something important.”
Her sister cut her off again. “It’s not as important as this. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and I think I need to tell Reed the truth.”
This took Melissa aback. Her sister was the mastermind of deception and the truth could be on many different levels. “What truth?”
“All of it, Melissa. He needs to know everything. Including about you. I mean I know I let him believe what he wanted to believe and he could care less about our marriage. He only did it to shut me up and to make his silly brother jealous. I didn’t think this would last so long. I thought-“ She stopped and there seemed to be some confusion on her part. “He’s more than obsessed with destroying his brother, but I think if I told him the truth about Daniel he’d understand and I’d be forgiven for everything. He wants a son. He needs a son so bad and I want to be the one to give him one now.”
“No!” Melissa snapped. “You will not give my son to that monster!”
“This wasn’t a request, Melissa,” Penelope said. “I’m coming to get him in a couple of
days. Have him packed and ready-“
“Penelope, no! You can’t do this! He’s going to destroy Daniel. You know this.”
“Reed is not a monster.”
“He is to me and he’ll only put Daniel in that… that lifestyle. NO!”
“I wasn’t asking, Melissa. Now do as you’re told and be ready to say good bye to my son.”
“He’s mine! He’s mine!”
The line had clicked. Penelope had hung up on her.
Melissa collapsed to the floor and cried. Oh gawd! Oh gawd! She’s going to take Daniel away!
Someone knocked on the door.
“Ms. Lawson, are you okay?”
The clerks voice caught her off guard and made Melissa remember exactly where she was. She couldn’t lose it. All her life she had been holding her sanity in check. ‘You are not going to lose it now. Not yet.’
“Y-Yes, I’m fine.” Clearing her throat, she said, “I thought… I thought I saw something, but I’m fine.”
Thirty seconds left.
‘I can’t let her take away Daniel. I must protect him. I must not let Reed get to him.’
There was no other choice. She needed to make this decision and maybe they would be right. By the time Reed found out the truth, she could divorce herself and then be officially married to Dyson.
She was unsure whether to be happy or said about this prospect.
‘Just look at it as good things come to those who wait,’ she told herself.
It was almost funny.

I've always believed we are given a false sense of control when it comes to our bodies. WE think that we have control all the time, but most times we are just faked into believing that we do.
I was so exhausted this weekend that I think I was just on auto pilot yesterday. Seriously and it was a scary thing driving around, speaking to people, getting back into my usual uprooted routine and just interacting with my children.
I wasn't normal. Didn't like it.
So I didn't get a chance to work on the book all weekend and for that I do apologize, but when I got home last night and passed out and then a friend came over which cheered me up a little and then I started pounding out chapter 12 of this story.
I figured out a little bit of what is going on between Melissa and Penelope and I've been doing scientific research on twins.
Gawd, it's just amazing what's changed in science since I last researched this.
Anyhoo, I then got stuck on who was Taylor's best friend. I knew his last name was Lintez and I knew he was a family lawyer, but you (the reader) haven't met him and I needed you to meet him.
Especially with me building up the Bellini stories as we speak. I wanted you to get acquainted with all of them - even the ones not related.
Hence, Lorenzo Lintez.
If you don't know or haven't read the excerpt from The Other Side of Love, he's Taylor's best friend.
His mother died when he was just a child and she was close friends to Taylor's aunt, who raised her. He was adopted by the aunt and grew up with the Bellini cousins all together.
He's the only one who can put up with Taylor and they share everything.
He's moving his law practice to Detroit to stay around his family who are moving as well from Chicago to Detroit.
(But I'll go more into detail about that in another book)
In any case, he's Dyson lawyer and goes wherever the money is.
Nothing special bout Lorenzo. He's handsome - as all who are with the Bellini - but he has this hometime boyish feel about him that makes women very comfortable around.
He's the reasoning tool I'm using.
As to what's Tyrone really up to, I'm still trying to find that out, but I dont' doubt it's something to mess Dyson up. I really don't doubt that.
Thanks for your patience and thank you for all the love and emails of concern for me.
Guess what?! No migraines! All the strain and stress I was under this weekend, not one migraine hit me.
I'm happy about that.
I've been a good girl. I've cut a lot of things out my diet - except sugar, but when I tried Splenda and other sugar substitutes it either tasted nasty or made my migraines come back worse.
I've only used one bottle of migraine medicine this month so that's pretty good.
All your suggestions seem to be working.
I should be done with Love 101 by sometime today. I want to concentrate on Sex Weed a little bit more and then I'm doing some typing on Drawing the Line.
I picked up an intern for the summer and LaDontai is just wonderful. She's helping me out so much and I really think my conference will look like a real conference with her around.
She's taking a lot of back ground stress off my shoulders.
BTW, I'm looking for sponsors for my conference in November, so if any of you have any ideas, please help a sistah out.
Okay, enough talkie talk. I can hear you say, where's the post Sylvia?
“Are you sure it was a bright idea inviting her?” Jerome asked as they waited for the elevator.
“It was a great idea. Dyson needs to be laid every hour on the hour and she needs a fucking break away from all the bull shit he throws at her while at work,” Tyrone said.
“It’s not as if you’re going to be fucking in the middle of the dinner table while we’re sitting at it,” Dyson snipped at Jerome.
Dana, Jerome and Tyrone looked at each other for a moment and they all smiled about something secretly.
“I won’t even asked what that was about. And please make sure you’ve bleached the table before we get there,” Dyson sneered disgustedly. “Just be careful.”
“Are you sure what you’re doing you should do? At least find out a little bit more
information about her before you go committing to pay all the shit for her,” Tyrone said. “I mean fucking her and buying her are two different things.”
“Very rarely do I agree with anything my brother says, but in this regard I do, Dyson,” Jerome stated.
Dana interjected. “Now as far as I know from the two of you, Dyson has always made great decisions, which is why you decided to use him to build the intranet to connect our companies together to help us grow. I think anything Dyson decides is fine as long as it’s not deceiving to her.”
“From a business standpoint, Dyson is fantastic. He’s professional and the best in his field this side of the Mississippi,” Jerome agreed with Dana. “But on a personal level, Dyson has never made a good decision when it comes to women toward his own happiness since his wife died.”
“I’m almost agreeing with him, but then you’d think I wanted to get along with my brother,” Tyrone said to Dyson.
“Fuck the both of you. I know what I’m doing,” Dyson growled and leaned in to kiss Dana on her cheek. “You’re doing a good job with them.”
“I’m trying,” she said giggling not taking his anger seriously.
“Don’t say we didn’t warn you,” Jerome said.
“And stay out of it, Tyrone. The only reason you’re agreeing with me is because you probably convinced him to do something crazy.”
“What?” Tyrone asked incredulously as if he were caught doing something already, but shot a side glance at Dyson. “I haven’t done anything.”
Dyson took note of this and then remembered something. “I should know you. And I know your penchant for trouble. I spoke with Ezekiel not too long ago and matter of fact; I think he did warn me.”
“You want the truth from her don’t you?” Tyrone questioned.
“What did he tell you to do?” Dana demanded to know.
He didn’t want to admit to them he had liked Tyrone’s idea of trying to get the truth out of her, so he said, “Just Tyrone’s little mind games.” This would also make sure that Tyrone didn’t think he was going with his scheme.
“That’s what you get for having a small circle of friends,” Jerome chuckled at his brother.
“Dana’s going to be one less husband if you get involved,” Dyson threatened.
The doors to the elevator opened, but even as Tyrone stepped into it, he still didn’t acknowledge that he would keep his business to himself.
Dyson seriously wanted to know what was in Tyrone’s head, but it would be easier to put his teeth out rather than trying to get out what Tyrone was trying to do.
As he walked back slowly to his office, he still wondered how he was going to make her fall in love with him. He knew number one he would have to change his disposition to her, but hell, if he smiled at her, she would immediately become suspicious. Yet the only time she ever showed emotion toward him was when he was touching her.
Touch her more?
Tease her! Make her want it. The more she wanted him, the more she would think about him. The more she thought about him, the more her heart had a chance of opening up.
His plan was ingenious! She wouldn’t know what hit her.
Walking in the office, he saw that she wasn’t in there and Lorenzo was sitting in front of Dyson’s desk, looking through the papers that had been faxed to him by Dyson along with the detailed request. He knew Melissa would do her job and call the lawyer, but he wanted Lorenzo to have a heads up on what was going to happen today.
“Are you sure you know what you’re doing?” Armando asked as Dyson sat behind his desk.
“Of course I do. Can you make this happen without her knowing?”
“Without her knowing you aren’t really going to do what you are telling her you’re going to do?” Lorenzo asked. “Not only are you asking me to lie to her, but also lie to the state of
“All she has to do is sign the papers and give me partial custody. She doesn’t have to
know we aren’t.”
“Why can’t you just tell her the truth and allow her to know you can’t really do what you say you are going to do?”
“Why are you asking so many damn questions, Lorenzo?”
“It’s my job to know everything and tell little.” Lorenzo said smirking. “Now why?”
“I need the truth from her, Lorenzo and the only way to get it is to make her believe
that I’m there all the way. If she found out I’m still… well, you know, then I won’t be able to get what I need from her.”
“What could be the truth? Why don’t I do a little bit more digging before you go ahead with this mess?”
“That would take too long. Just do it this way and don’t let her know.”
Lorenzo was about to say more, but she walked in the room carrying an arm full of paperwork and a tray with the tea Lorenzo had requested.
Dyson’s eyes immediately went to her dress to see a panty liner, but his curiosity was piqued as to what color she could have possible picked out.
“Have a seat,” he ordered as he tried to stop thinking about how good her ass looked under that dress and he wished how he could kick Lorenzo out the room so he could-
“Let’s get down to business quickly,” Lorenzo said. “We are here today to discuss
several things that you and Mr. Peare have already agreed upon, correct?”
“Yes,” she said. “I’ve agreed to give over partial custody of my son, Daniel, and to give
Mr. Peare joining custody over any children I may have with him – if I am ... or could be pregnant out of wedlock.”
“Having the child out of wedlock won’t give Mr. Peare the right to it, nor will it give him custody of Daniel,” Lorenzo said regretfully.
She looked confused and Dyson knew she would.
“What do you mean?” Melissa looked at Dyson for a clear answer.
“The only way to give me what I want is to marry me, Melissa.”
It looked as if she was trying to stifle a gasp, but her lips were pursed so tight he couldn’t tell, Was she angry? Upset? Ready to scream his head off?
“I can’t,” she said adamantly. “And if you know me so well, then you know I can’t. That’s how you found me, right? Because you were digging around and found out that I was married to him.”
“I could call him right now.”
“I won’t do it, Dyson!” she screamed slamming her fist against the front of his desk.
This was the anger he expected. Her brown eyes blazed and her breath quickened. She was upset. She was so angry it was arousing. Yes, he wish Lorenzo wasn’t in the room because it would take less than five seconds to sweep off the damn desk and drag her across it.
Remaining calm, Dyson simply said, “You have to. You promised and you already know
He picked up the receiver of the phone and began to dial.
She rose up swiftly and knocked the phone off the desk ending what he was doing.
“I can’t.” Melissa leaned over the desk.
He stood up meeting her challenge. “Yes, you can. All you have to do is sign the papers and end it all. We’ll be married before he’s even notified.”
“Impossible. I’ll never get his consent.”
“Not really,” Lorenzo stated. “All I need is the proof that you’ve been head of household for a certain amouth of time, you sign a statement that says you’ve done this alone for
that time and we can get the divorce within three days with custody going solely to you. Once that’s done, I’ll start the process of marriage and in less than eight days you can legally marry anyone you want.”
She turned to Lorenzo. “You knew when you came in here?”
“Mr. Peare gave me a small heads up before coming,” Lorenzo admitted.
Turning back to him, she asked, “And how long have you been thinking about this?”
“Since I found out that son of a bitch was married. Why does he deserve his happiness when I’ve never had mine.”
“That’s not his fault your wife died, Dyson,” Melissa said defensively.
“Whether it is or isn’t, he doesn’t deserve you,” Dyson refuted. “Now sign those papers.”
She finally looked confused as she lowered herself back to her seat. “It’s more to all of this than you think.”’
“You’re making it complicated, Melissa.”
“No I’m not.”
“You have no one.”
“You don’t know that. You don’t know anything about me, Dyson!” There was a lot of hurt in that voice and he had to wonder if what she said was true.
Still, he needed this. He needed her consent and he needed her to give him what he wanted and that was a way to finally destroy Reed Lawson.
Her bottom lip trembled, but other than that she didn’t show any more emotions. Dyson stared intently at her face just waiting for her to get even angrier with him.
“I know enough,” he responded casually sitting down. “I know enough about you to know that you have no one to turn to except the only man you want nothing to do with. Your mother died before you reached the age of ten, your father died some years ago and any family they had you’ve ostracized yourself from in an attempt to make sure Reed can’t reach you to protect Daniel.”
A look of relief crossed her features, but then briefly left. Was there someone else?
“Melissa, there’s no one else who will ever give you the opportunity I can give you and on top of that you know that I can and will keep Daniel away from Reed,” Dyson finalized.
“I need to think about this.”
“There’s nothing to think about.”
“You’ve got five minutes.”
“To think about it.”
“Five minutes is nothing. I need more time.”
“Four minutes and thirty seconds.”
She jumped out the chair and stormed out the door.
“I don’t think she’s coming back,” Lorenzo said.
“She has no where to go,” Dyson stated and forced himself not to think about that look on her face that nicked at his gut. Was there someone else she could turn to? Was there somewhere else she could go? No! If there was, she would have done it by now.
“I think you were rather forceful, Dyson,” Lorenzo noted. “And maybe she should just know the truth instead of her going through the farce.”
“She can’t know the truth about that. Now would you just do your job I’m paying you for.”
Lorenzo gritted his teeth and sighed. “How much time?”
“Less than two minutes.” He looked at the door wishing he could see through it. ‘Where the hell was she? What the hell could she be trying to think about?’
Dyson had purposely backed her in the corner with no place to turn. Maybe he had driven her to Reed? Maybe she had snuck out and now she was on her way to surrender to Reed?! She had no intentions of ever divorcing him! Reed had his grips into her mind, body and soul and Dyson had no chance in hell of ever winning! Not with her! Not from the beginning!
He stood up and started to go around his desk to find her outside the office, but the
door swung open and she came into the office, slammed the door and stumped up to the desk.
Her eyes were read from crying and her skin was blotchy from rubbing tears away. “I hate you, Dyson Peare, but I’ll do it! I’ll divorce Reed and marry you!”
What the hell had happened in those last minutes to her?

“That’s perfect,” the sales rep said. “The red would look better on you.”
“How would you know?” Melissa asked.
“Because I’ve been doing this enough to know that whether red or black looks good on a woman from a man’s perspective.”
Melissa picked up the black. “I’m not trying to go on a man’s perspective.”
After purchasing the underwear and bra set, she returned to work just in time to greet Lorenzo Lintez, Dyson’s lawyer.
The last time she had seen him was on her first day at Dyson’s office when she had nervously waited for Dyson to get out of a meeting to see her to accept Dyson’s job proposal over two months ago.
She remembered wondering if Dyson would remember her and when he pretended like he didn’t know her, she pretended like she had not known him.
Mixed with crossed Hispanics bloodlines, Lorenzo was a strapping male, dark skinned with piercing hazel brown eyes that seemed to see right through a person. He wasn’t intimidating, but he was large, just like Dyson with just a smirk on his face all the time like he didn’t believe one word anyone said.
Lorenzo’s kind eyes greeted her and he smirked remembering her. “You look no worse for wear. Are you sure you work for Dyson?”
She smiled. “Unfortunately. I just can hide my emotions real well and I need this job badly.”
“If you’re as good as Dyson professes you to be, I might be inclined to offer you employment in my new Detroit offices, but Dyson might be upset if I stole you away.”
Hiding her shock that Dyson actually said something nice about her, she pretended a cough to shield this. “A little,” she said knowingly. “And wouldn’t it be some kind of conflict of interest if I worked for
“Only your interest would be of value because I wouldn’t want
you to lose your sanity. Now where is he?”
At that moment the conference room opened and Dyson walked out. In tow were Tyson, along with a man that looked identical to him. The only reason Melissa didn’t suspect this man to be Tyson was because he was dressed in a grey suit and Tyson wore blue.
If it hadn’t been the fact she noticed Tyrone in the well-tailored suit, Melissa would have mistaken the second man for him.
Along with this other man, a very attractive black young woman held his arm, laughing at something that had been said inside the room.
“Can you possible be any funnier, Jerome?” Tyrone growled at
the identical looking man.
“I try, dear brother. Dana loves my sense of humor.”
The woman saw Tyrone had not liked what had been so amusing to her and she moved over to take his arm. “Don’t be bad tempered, Ty. You promised me dinner tonight.”
This seemed to completely change him and he pulled her close forgetting they had an audience and kissed her.
Even though it was kiss, Melissa was a little jealous about how passionate it was.
The woman blushed and pushed away. Reluctantly looking away from Tyson, she noticed Melissa.
“That’s her,” Tyson said.
Completely moving away and coming toward Melissa, she outstretched her hand. “Melissa, I’ve heard so much about you? I’m Dana Lott”
“From whom did you hear so much about?” Melissa asked suspiciously before shaking Dana’s hand.
“Dyson spoke quite reverently about you.”
Tyrone and Dyson cleared their throats and shot daggers with their eyes at Dana.
She ignored them. “I can’t wait to see you in Toronto. Tyrone said he invited you.”
“She might be busy that weekend,” Dyson said.
“I’ve never been out the country,” Melissa said at the same time. “I wouldn’t know a thing about getting there.”
“Nonsense,” Dana insisted. “If Dyson can’t bring you, I’ll make my husbands send a car for you.”
Melissa didn’t know if she should correct the woman about saying husbands. It had to be a mistake. No one had two husbands. She looked over at Dyson who only shook his head with a look for her not to say anything.
“It was very nice to meet you, Melissa,” Dana said with a strange blush over her face.
“You too,” Melissa said honestly.
“Can you show Mr. Lintez to my office while I walk them out,
Melissa,” Dyson ordered.
Stiffly, she said, “Yes, Mr. Peare.” She knew as she walked away with the lawyer Dyson was watching her intently. Something had made him angry at her for some reason and she had no doubt that meddling Tyson had something to do with it. But what? Had they figured something out? Had her secret come to the surface?
What had she done now?
This is her alter ego talking cause if she speaks or even gets near a keypad, she's going to try to start writing the story.

here's the post and I'll try to do Monday since I found some money to keep my internet at home on, LOL. Sistah getting broke by the day around here with all the gas prices going up.
As difficult as it was, Dyson pushed the past out of his head to face the ever drama causing Semi-identical twin of Jerome Lott. Dyson had known the brothers from his late high school years and was about the only person who could really tell them apart. He had been transferred to the high school right before the second half of his tenth grade year because of all the fights he and Reed kept getting into. If he wasn’t fighting Reed or his boys, then he was fighting someone who had the nerve to cause trouble for Reed. The last straw had been when he had slapped a teacher student assistant for marking his paper with an F, just to bring down his grade point average. Reed played dirty, but Dyson had done dirtier things to his stepbrother and had always been the one to hit lower under the belt than Reed could. There was so much dirty stuff Dyson had done, he barely remember the damage he had caused until Jerome or Tyrone would bring it up if they tracked down memory lane. This was due to the excessive drinking and weed abuse he had been doing since eighth grade, but had stopped shortly after becoming friends with the twins.
Still, the little student assistant tart bragged to her friends when she didn’t know Dyson was right around the corner from her.
He didn’t care about being kicked out, but at the new high school, he didn’t choose to make friends, yet for some reason that was what Jerome liked about him and they became fast buddies. Suddenly in eleventh grade, Jerome began to act funny. Almost like Dyson and that’s when Dyson knew this wasn’t Jerome.
The brothers finally confided in Dyson.
Although they were Semi-identical twins, they looked just alike except for minor differences that very little saw, which was how Tyrone was able to switch with his brother a lot of times after he ran away from his mother’s home in Canada.
Once grown, the brothers remained ever close and the few friends they acquired they kept in constant contact with them.
“And I thought my brother and I knew how to get all uses out of one woman,” Tyrone smirked referring to his arrangement with his brother about Dana – their wife. “How’d you get so lucky to get a secretary and a whore out of it?”
The urge to bust Tyrone in the mouth for being crass startled him and he couldn’t figure out why he wanted to hit the man for talking bad about Melissa when he’d never before been defensive about any woman he’d had feelings for. “She’s not a whore,” he defended. Tyrone was the only one who could be almost as cruel as Dyson.
“And she’s got you actually defending women. I haven’t seen you like this. Even with Rachel.”
“Fuck off, Ty,” he said sitting next to him.
“And that really tells me everything.”
Sighing tiredly, Dyson had no doubt that Tyrone would go to the grave with anything he told him. “You remember my brother?”
“Who doesn’t? Reed would come to our school and start shit with you just because. You two still have beef?”
“Hell yeah, but it’s gotten deep. Too deep.” He started explaining everything just as he had told Alejandro Bellini, but added on the new things.
Tyrone sat there with a shocked expression on his face once he knew who she was and then he still looked like that once Dyson was done. “Wait one damn minute. This is the middle of the night chick?”
Dyson forgot about that and groaned. How could he forget about that? That’s what really started this war, but it had been so long ago. But Melissa didn’t know about that. Damn his memory! Melissa wouldn’t think he’d do something like that. Yet she was acting strange.
Before he answered, Tyrone thought to jog Dyson’s memory about. “Remember you
used to lie to your father to come spend the night at our house, but I remember you sneaking out about five times to get back at Reed.”
Dyson groaned. How could he forget? The night he finally got the guts to crawl in that window when he knew Reed wasn’t coming and she was just lying there, naked and waiting.
“I swear back then you had shit for brains, Dyson,” Tyrone snickered. “You were doing
so many things to Reed, I figured you fucked yourself up with all the hatred running through
“I had good reason.”
“You were an asshole then and you’re a bigger asshole now because you pushed all that shit out of your fucking head and don’t remember shit, but I remember every damn thing and I remember that girl cause of the way you talked about her and how you were jealous Reed found someone. You felt he didn’t deserve her.”
“He still doesn’t. Gawd! I’m glad I stopped smoking weed and drinking so damn much.”
“That was the best thing you ever did for yourself, but you can thank Jerome for that when he gets here.”
Dyson groaned again because now that he thought about it, he knew that there could be more to Melissa and how much she actually knew, which would explain all her damn secrets.
“She agreed to give you sex so you wouldn’t go and tell Reed about the boy?” Tyrone asked.
Dyson answered, “She’s hell bent on not letting him find out anything about her, her situation or her son.”
“I know a lot about women and they never get themselves in any situation they have no control over, Dyson. She’s playing you.”
“How do you figure?”
“How do you know Reed didn’t set her up for you? And she’s working for him?”
He never thought of that option and now he felt his mind retreating from any possibility of opening up any more than what he had opened up to her. “So what do you think I should do?”
Tyrone smirked knowingly. “Easily. Make her fall in love with you. Once a woman’s in love, she’ll lay the world at your feet. And the truth will set you free. Ten thousand says her truth is that she’s working for Reed to find your weakness and then attack you. You put a hurting on that man and he’s going to do whatever it takes to make sure when he knocks you down you don’t ever get back up again.”
That sounded easy enough, but Dyson had never met a woman so hard to get to and to open her feelings to. Reed had done some awful shit to her. If she was still in love with him and maybe even just working for him, maybe it was out of necessity.
But making Melissa fall in love with him whether she was secretly with Reed or not, would give Dyson advantage. She would easily give over custody of Daniel and allow Dyson to claim him, along with any child she carried, and he could show boat her in front of Reed to rub salt on still open wounds.
The woman in question decided to come in the conference room holding a tray with bottled water and a cup of ice. “I’m sorry to interrupt,” she said in her most polite tone not even giving Dyson eye contact on purpose.
She was still upset and this amused him.
“Mr. Jerome Lott called and said that he and his wife would be arriving in fifteen minutes.”
“Thank you, Ms. Lawson,” Dyson said politely, but only because they were in front of guest.
She placed the bottled water in front of Tyrone. “Here’s your bottled water and ice, Mr. Lott. Is there anything else?”
“Did you call the lawyer?” Dyson asked.
“Yes,” she said obviously.
“Thank you, Ms. Lawson.” Tyrone firmly took her hand in his to prevent her from leaving as fast as she wanted to get out the room. “You know, I have this great villa in Canada and I’d love to invite you to it for my anniversary weekend. My wife and I are renewing our vows.”
Dyson cleared his throat. “That probably wouldn’t be a good idea.”
“Nonsense, you’re coming.”
“I really wouldn’t have a way there and I don’t have a babysitter,” Melissa said.
“Your boss can bring you,” Tyrone said. “And children are invited. My wife’s planned a lot of activities for children as well because our three are coming.”
“Your children are still babies,” Dyson pointed out.
“Dana’s already prepared for Royce to come and I won’t take no for an answer,” Tyrone
Melissa looked over at Dyson and then returned to the handsome black man. He had a sure grip on her hand and she could see by the determined look in his dark honey brown eyes that he wasn’t going to take no for an answer. “I’ll see,” she said.
Tyrone released her hand. “Good. I’ll tell Dana to make arrangements.”
She started to walk out the room in a hurried pace, but Dyson called her softly. Instantly she stopped just before opening up the door, but she didn’t turn around to him.
He walked beside her and pressed two bills in her hands and whispered in her ear. “Whatever you have to do, I suggest you get yourself a pair of underwear before I cancel my meeting and drag you in the nearest dark corner.”
Blushing from forehead to neck, she took the money and left out the room.
“I won’t even ask what that was,” Tyrone said.
Sex was sex and Dyson didn’t care if she was working for Reed or not. He still wanted Melissa’s sex and all he could think about was the fact that she didn’t wear underwear the whole time.
“Now can we get down to some business and get out of my personal life?” Dyson

Since most of us are online during the day. I thought maybe we should do a chat.
If you scroll down to the side bar right under the amazon wish list button, there's a chat button.
At 3:30 I'll be on the board and looking out for anyone who wants to chat and ask questions. Plus, I might comment on these past things to confuse everyone.
Especially my new fasination with twins. LOL

Maybe I didn't drop the hint too good, but you guys forget I don't make things easy. I like to challenge you.
I'll give you the paragraph again to unconfuse you: (note the bold)
With beautiful slanted brown eyes, long eye lashes and heart shaped full lips to accompany the same shaped face. Her skin was the color of light brown almond kissed by the sun and her hair was the deep blaze dark brown that looked almost black.
Did that help?
Now the next question: Is Dyson the father to Daniel?
That's telling the story.
Now the next question: Who mothered Daniel? Penelope or Melissa
That's telling the story.
Now the next question: Sylvia, I never got to read parts one through 6.

If you have any problems, email me offloop.
I think that's it, but if there are more questions, please comment on this section or email me offloop. I'll gladly answer.
It was a hot mess, but I had fun. I went to a friends booksigning. She wrote : the other side of through.
I had fun.
Can't wait for my booksigning in august? I have games and prizes planned for everyone. I know I got three people to sign up for it. Is that all? I'll only have three readers at my booksigning?
Sistah feeling depressed. LOL. Maybe I'll hold the last chapters hostage of this story and make y'all come and release them at the party. Oh you guys would just die wouldn't ya? that would be cruel... but good idea... LMAO!
This week your job as my favorite readers in order to get extra chapters this week, you're going to have to convince a guy to come to the site and read the book. I'd love to hear a guy's opinion on the book. You'll go into a drawing if you get a guy to make a deep comment on the book or about any book I wrote (give him mistaken identity. He'd like that one) in my guest book at http://sylviahubbard.com and will win a hand made book thong and an off line book called Maniac Neighbor. I wrote it a while ago and it's to soon go on sale at Amazon - hopefully if they accept it. (Make sure he mentions you referred him)
No cheating and pretending to be a guy.
BTW, I had this post ready at 8am. But I was so busy that I couldn't get my hands on pushing publish. Then I forgot about it and was closing off windows to go to lunch and realized this was still sitting on my screen. K and T, you should have texted me on my phone, LOL.

Sex Weed Part 10.2 (c) 2007 Sylvia Hubbard
BTW, I should also note that if you're a new reader and you haven't read Mistaken Identity, this would be a good time to pick up your copy because you're about to meet the twins again.
And that's all i got to say about that.... (snickering)

I got to meet Hill Harper. I'm so excited about that. I was sooooo excited I didn't know what to say and me being speechless is a rarity, LOL.
Okay, I'll talk about the out come of that meeting later this year.
Anyhoo, I'm going to post now. It's 2 am in Detroit and I have to be up in three hours to drive to Ann Arbor for the Ann Arbor Book Festival.
Wish you all could join me.

NoireMagazine's Hotter Than July! Caution: Adult Content
For the July issue, NoireMagazine. com has decided to talk to some of the hottest, steamiest, sexiest authors in the business. We'd like some help from our readers. Tell us which authors have written some of your favorite HOT, HEAD-SLAMMING SEX SCENES, and send us a sample paragraph so we can spotlight them in our Hotter Than July issue! Please send your favorite erotic paragraph to our Senior Editor at firstname.lastname@example.org and help steam up the pages with a short sexy scene from your favorite author. Here is a sample of what we're looking for:"Sincere snatched his dick outta me again and grabbed it in his hand. He pressed the tip to my glistening pussy and slid it up and down over my clit, back and forth, until I came like that. Then he moved down lower, sliding his lips across my stomach as his teeth clinked on my belly ring. He dug into my skin as he gripped my thighs, his fingers separating my folds, splitting them apart as he lapped at my curly brown mound, then covered my clit with his hot lips." --From THONG ON FIRE: An Urban Erotic Tale by NOIRE

I'll try to update the download version this weekend for the people reading on a weekly basis because if you're popping in and out and unsure when I'm posting or you haven't subscribed for the dailys, then you're pretty confused.
Sorry bout that.

I thought to interupt now and give you a preview of what's to come.
I'm about to do something I've never done before in the middle of the story.....
(Drum roll please)
I'm about to do a flashback.
Now this is going to be a learning experience so if you become confused, please let me know. As always, you're getting this book live and it's working out good because I'm not posting as much as I usually do and it's given me time to just sit and stir.
But I thought that I needed to do this to help you come out of a lot of confusion. (Well help me too).
Of course what I'm posting now isn't a flashback, but it's coming okay.
Kisses and leave your comments at the bottom.
If I get enough over the weekend to let me know what you think, I might post extra next week.
And if you tell a few friends, then I might do you a fave again.

1. An actual book release party. I'll be planning a book release party in maybe December of this year for my book, Secrets, Lies & Family Ties. I would like to send actual invitations out to local fans and if you are coming out state, you're invited too. If you'd like to come, instead of me making up a new form, please go to my old site and fill out the form with the complete address, (zip code included) at http://sylviahubbard.homestead.com/Stories.html. In the first line of the form put in your name and email. The second line put in your complete address and the third line put in Party. Easy? Thanks. Local readers might be part of the fun and I need to contact you about helping out.
2. I want to host a reader appreciation party in the city of Detroit. That's planned for the new year (maybe a May or June thing) where I can sit down, face to face with readers. We'll eat and just talk about thecurrent live story, past live story and you can pick my brain. I want to make it free so I'll have other author friends present who will foot the cost to also sit with you and give you free books. Along with free food who couldpossibly pass that up.
You can fill out the same form as well.
thank you in advance.

I never know which way its going to turn. Originally, I started out sex weed with Melissa. She's a complex character and I felt you should meet her.
But once I got over somewhere else, I just kicked in Dyson gear.
BTW, I don't like him.
I mean I really don't like him and I'm trying to understand what Melissa sees in him.
Anyhoo, if you haven't caught up with us yet, please download your free update at : http://www.lulu.com/content/777837
okay, more Sex Weed, just like I promised .... enjoy
