Emperor's Addiction Chapter 4.4

Whew, this is a long chapter! Okay last one of these for the day.

______________________________

She felt herself falling and realized it was true because he was laying her on the long raised table reserved for holding copying, which he had lifted her upon without even breaking a sweat. The feel of him, the taste of him, just the proximity of him was so powerful, but her damn conscious was stabbing at her gut with hot guilt jabs.

With great reluctance, she wrenched her mouth from his and pushed at his shoulders, "No Emperor."

Through his cloud of lust, he caught his name off her lips and groaned because he had never heard it sounding so sweetly. It was the first time she had spoken it and damn if it didn't sound euphonious to his ears. "But you want me, don't you, Reese?" he whispered really needing to know this as he kissed her ears and neck.

As pleasant as this was, Reese forced herself to remember she was in the school's copier room and her mother was just one floor away. Mastering her control out of fear, she said with an icy tone, "Whether I do or don't, it doesn't matter."

Damn if she didn't sound like her bitchy mother. Yes, she was definitely going to turn out like that woman if she didn't get away from her soon.

Her tone of voice got him like she wanted it to - back in control. The passion disappeared out of his eyes and he looked as if he couldn't believe what he had done.

'Of course its nothing but abhorrence,' she concluded. 'Or an overwhelming sense of pity to try to make her feel better about herself.' Emperor Heart could not be attracted to her. That would be ludicrous.

Em released her and moved away, adjusting his clothes and running a frustrated hand through his short cut hair.

Reese used that moment, while he gathered his thoughts to fix her own clothes and hair.

"I'm sorry. I really am," he said remorsefully guilt weighing hard on him. "I don't know what came over me."

That inscrutable look held heavily in her diamond cold eyes and Emperor felt the need to still explain. He knew she was too young for him and she must think he was some kind of pervert. Hell, he felt like some kind of pervert going after a young girl like Reese, but as bad as he felt he wanted to do it all over again. "I've never in all my years been uncontrollably attracted to someone like you, Reese. You're not even my type."

She averted her eyes again and he couldn't tell if that comment had made her upset or not.

"It's alright, Mr. Heart," she said nonchalantly, picking up the copies. He didn't see how hard she was gripping the bundle, but she could feel the paper cuts already starting. "I should go." She started to walk past him, but he gently caught her arm to stop her.

"Please come by the house when you can," he said quietly with desperation in his voice. "I don't want to see you become her. You're much more than that, Reese."

'But I'm not your type,' the voice in her head screamed as she refused to look at him. "I'll think about it," she forced out coolly.

Em felt like they were starting back over again and the ball as always was in her court. He had never experienced not being in control of a relationship that he had with any woman, but giving her the power seemed to turn him on even more.

Soon as he released her arm, she rushed out the room scared to even look back knowing she would drop those papers and run in his arms to feel his body against hers again. Even though she wasn't his type and she felt like a silly little girl, who couldn't handle a man like Emperor she still wanted him.

Em composed himself to walk because he was feeling like he'd stuffed a log down his damn leg. 'What the hell am I doing molesting a little girl?' He was probably as sick as Karen thought him to be. The horrible part was that he wanted more - Much more of Reese's essence and not just on his hands. He wanted to feel her tightness massaging his shaft. He wanted to feel her naked young body rubbing up against his watching the contrast of her white luscious flesh pressed on his. He wanted those lips forever planted on his.

Eartha had turned the radio on and it didn't look like she was impatient.

"What she say? Why did she return the stuff?" Eartha asked when he sat behind the driver's wheel.

"She didn't say." He pulled his sunglasses off after starting up the car. "You looked in that envelope and resealed it, didn't you?"

"Yes Daddy," she said smiling wickedly. "I know you've been acting strange since that promise, but then after you met Reese you stopped looking."

He didn't understand what she meant by that. "What do you mean?"

"You stopped looking at other women. I know how you used to check out women. Always looking them up and down like they were pieces of meat. But then all of a sudden, you stopped. You were in this whole 'be by yourself thing' and I knew it wasn't just because of the promise you made to me. When she gave me that stuff, I knew you'd somehow made contact with her."

Defensively, he said, "I didn't do anything to her. I didn't have sex with her."

Eartha put a reassuring hand on her father's hand. "I know that, Daddy. I know that because you really do things to a woman and I can tell when you've been with one or not. They get this silly glow on their faces. But after I gave you that envelope, you got that silly glow on your his face. I knew she was something special."

The fact that Eartha paid so close attention to him was a sign of how much his daughter loved him. He felt even guiltier about what he had done with Reese. "I know she's too young for me."

"She's pretty young," Eartha agreed and shrugged. "But that still doesn't stop her from being special to you."

"Why did you give her that note?"

"Because you'd been acting strange ever since she returned that stuff to you. Why didn't you tell me you offered to help her out giving her the guest house?" Eartha's feelings sounded hurt.

"I don't know, Eartha. I never encountered any thing that I've been feeling lately when it concerns Reese. Does your mother know?" he asked worriedly.

Eartha shook her head. "This had nothing to do with her, Daddy? I know our rules about what goes on at home, stays at home."

"That's your Uncle Lethal's rule," he corrected her.

"I know, but I never tell you what's going on at Mom's house, do I?"

She didn't and he had to give it to her, she was a pretty smart girl. "I thought I was doing Reese a favor. Sort of like giving her a vacation from her problems."

"She won't accept. She won't leave her mother, Daddy," Eartha said knowingly. "Ms. Carver needs Reese."

"Why? How? Shouldn't it be the other way around?"

She shook her in dread. "Reese does all the work for the class. She composed the honors syllabus, she basically almost teaches the class the lesson and she's the one that checks all the papers and prepares the tests and lesson plans."

"But she's not old enough or certified to be doing things like that? Isn't that illegal?"

"Yeah, it's illegal somewhere. Most likely more with the school board, but no one's going to tell because then Reese would be losing out on everything she's worked for, Daddy."

"Can't she just leave? Run away?"

"She's tried before, but she always came back or I heard Ms. Carver found Reese and …" Eartha stopped and he saw her look in the distance in horror. "she came to school and I saw her in the bathroom one time pulling her shirt up… I saw her back." Eartha closed her eyes and swallowed as if she had eaten something disgusting.

"Why didn't she go to the police? Why didn't you tell someone when you saw it, Eartha?"

"Reese told me not to say anything. Not even the police could help her if she wouldn't admit her mother did it, Daddy. What was I supposed to do? All I can be is her friend if she can't help herself." She took a deep breath to push away the bad memories. "I've heard a lot of the senior girls talking about other worse things." She reached over and held her father's hand. "I'm glad you want to help her, Daddy. Don't be upset that you do want to."

Emperor really couldn't take talking about Reese anymore, because all he could think about was feeling her wetness and wanting to take her right there in the copier room. It wasn't helping to get himself down to a comfortable size.

Emperor's Addiction Chapter 4.3

When the call came in, he really didn't know what to expect. Ms. Carver just said he needed to get to the school immediately and that was what he did. He prayed Eartha hadn't hit someone else.

He dropped everything and nearly crashed his car, trying to get to the school. Most of the staff had left by the time he arrived and when he walked in the classroom, Eartha was sitting at a desk pouting. Her frown looked almost lie his and he almost smirked to know his daughter favored him so much.

"Mr. Heart," Ms Carver said in a cold tone from her desk. "I'm glad you could come."

He looked her way and he would swear she was wearing the same damn thing he had first saw her in almost three months ago. He hadn't heard hide or hair from Reese. Matter of fact, she had promptly sent a sealed envelope with Eartha two days after his massage, returning all the items in the envelope and for the life of him he couldn't figure what the hell he had done to make her do that. Had she thought he was trying to buy her? Was her morals through her mother so strict, accepting gifts from a man would just kill her?

He wasn't just any man though. Obviously, she felt something for him even if it was respect for being Eartha's father enough for her to accept his invitation to "hang out" in the first place.

Em just wanted to make her happy. This feeling to please hadn't been incited inside of him since he laid eyes on Eartha. Now there was this other female he constantly thought about pleasing. Maybe it was a way to get her out of his mind because he was beating the hell out of his penis two and three times day.

Yet, these fantasies were so different. Since meeting Reese, he couldn't imagine any other woman. In the past, he used to fantasize through about seventy women in his head before he released. Now only Reese could make his member stand at attention and pulse for hours.

The more he did the worse he felt through and through because he knew how wrong it was to want to be with a female so young.

Em figured if he could find out what his true interest in her was, then maybe he would stop thinking about her. If he could find out what made her happy and gave her that, then maybe he wouldn't feel like her spirit was crying out to him, even though her eyes refused to show him even the slightest bit of interest.

Maybe if he knew she was even the least attracted to him, he could then ignore her like he ignored all the other women who were showing him attention. For some reason, all the other advances didn't matter as much any more even though he still received them. Even Eartha's other little friends gave him attention making sure he addressed each and everyone of them when they came over with Eartha. Giggling behind his back and he always heard them say when they thought he couldn't hear them, "Your dad is so hot."

"What did she do now?" he asked Ms. Carver, scanning the room and hiding his disappointment when he didn't see Reese.

"I didn't do a thing, Daddy," Eartha cried.

He gave her one of his "Just wait your turn" looks before meeting Ms. Carver's squinty dark dull eyes. Reese definitely didn't get her soft beauty from her mother. Ms. Carver had this kind of slutty beauty. Even if she put on a lot of make up she would still remind him of one of those gaudy pin ups in Hustler's Magazine.

Ms. Carver cleared her throat. "She was passing notes in class. Even after I warned her to stop, I saw her passing notes." She opened her palm and handed him the folded note.

He opened the note and read it:

Do you like my dad?

"She was using Reese to pass it to her friends," Ms. Carver accused.

He re-read the note and looked at his daughter who was sitting there with her arms crossed over her chest and a deep worried frown on her face. That was her handwriting - she couldn't deny that. "Did you do this?"

"Yes," Eartha said honestly. "But she's wrong about the note passing, Daddy, I wasn't..." She stopped and tightened her lip. That clearly meant whatever information she was about to divulge there was something she didn't want someone to know about.

"Who were you passing it to?" Em demanded to know. "Who is the person that should have received this?"

Eartha licked her lip and then bit down on the bottom one that was thick and full like his.

"Can I have a private word with you, Mr. Heart?" Ms. Carver asked as the adults both realized that Eartha was going to be defiant in this matter and not answer her father.

He glanced at his daughter who was still sitting there now with anger in her eyes before he followed Ms. Carver out into the hallway, closing the door behind them for privacy.

"For a while, since the fight, Eartha has found ways to disrupt the classroom. Would you know if she is having difficulties or personal problems somewhere else other than school?"

Em couldn't recall Eartha ever coming to him and telling him something bothered her. She wasn't the kind of person that kept her emotions to herself like Karen. If Eartha felt something was bothering her, she spoke on it with her parents. Karen and Emperor had always kept lines of communication open for their daughter.

"No, Ms. Carver. Eartha knows she can talk to us about anything and she has done so without fear."

"Are you and your wife experiencing any trouble?" Ms. Carver asked. "Trouble that you think your daughter doesn't know about?"

Eartha knew about everything there was to her parents and their relationship. That was how Em knew that Karen still wanted to sleep with him. Although Eartha hadn't asked her dad what was bothering him of late, he had a suspicion she knew something was drawing his attention from his current problem of pain.

Correcting Ms. Carver, he said, "Ex-wife. And no, Karen and I aren't experiencing any trouble. We get along just fine."

"I'm familiar with uncontrollable children like this and Eartha is proving she is well on her way to becoming a child the two of you can't get a handle on. My Reese was very defiant for a while until I took an early belief of spare the rod, spoil the child. If you think of anything, Mr. Heart, my door is always open. Even just to talk." She placed a cold clammy hand on his.

Em almost jerked away from the cold sweaty touch, but forced himself to not do anything drastic he would regret later. No this woman just didn't insult his parenting style, while coming on to him? Emperor was the best damn father a girl could ever want and if this old bat was trying to get brownie points with him, she just failed miserably.

"I don't think I need the council of a teacher, right now, Ms. Carver. Eartha is a very bright young lady and maybe she's just not being challenged enough in your class, because none of her other teachers complain."

She pulled her hand back from him affronted by his remark. "I'll have you know, I'm the best English Honors teacher in the city." Ms. Carver pushed her glasses up on her nose and folded her arms over her chest. "Maybe the problem is with Eartha not being able to handle my class. You know she has had problems with the last two assignments and she barely was able to turn in the two required reports on the Shakespearean plays we read."

Was she trying to play him for a bitch? If anything, Eartha didn't need any help when it came the Shakespeare. The girl had been into the playwright since she was nine when her mother took her to see Othello. Seventeen grand, Emperor had spent on her twelfth birthday to fly his daughter to se a once of a kind Shakespeare festival held only in Europe. Eight fucking hours he was tortured mentally by all things Shakespeare just to see his daughter happy.

Eartha was right. This bitch was out to get his daughter.

"What were her grades on those papers?" he challenged, allowing his fury to be seen in his pitch black eyes.

"I can't recall at this time," Ms. Carver flustered. "But I can guarantee they weren't great pieces of works turned in." She quickly changed the subject. "Be warned, Mr. Heart. If her attitude in my class doesn't improve, I will have her expelled for the rest of the semester or from the school, because that's where she's heading. I suggest you have a serious talk with your daughter."

"And I suggest you have a serious talk with your supervisor because if my daughter fails this class I will make sure you're corralled in front of the Board of Education."

Ms. Carver huffed with indignity. "I know my grading system is correct, Mr. Heart. For her disobedience she will serve five days in detention."

He knew Eartha and Karen would have a shit feast on this sentencing. "Aren't you a bit harsh on note passing?"

"Harsh is if I said fourteen days for every character used." Ms. Carver jerked around so hard to go back in the classroom, her bun almost unwound from her hair.

Emperor followed her back in, rubbing the spot where she had touched him to warm it back up. "Get your things," he ordered Eartha. "Let's get out of here."

After Eartha left out the classroom, he said, "It's fifteen characters on that note, Ms. Carver, but how would you know that since you're an English teacher and not a Math teacher." He slammed the door after he left, catching up with Eartha with his long angry strides.

They were on the first floor before he turned her to him suddenly and grabbed her shoulders so she had no choice but to look at him. "Who did you write that note too?"

She tried to wrench away from his grip, but it was futile. "No one, Daddy," she lied.

Em shook her slightly. Never in his life had he ever laid hands on Eartha, but right about now he was so angry at her blatant defiance and the upsetting thought that Ms. Carver might be right. "Eartha, quit lying to protect your friends. Who did you write that note too?" he demanded to know.

Stepping behind him, Reese said, "Stop it! She wrote it me."

He released Eartha immediately and straightened up to turn and look at Reese. His heart was pulsing so damn hard and he thought it would just fly out of his mouth. Again he was lost for words to say to her. Dammit, why the hell did he always feel two feet tall when he was around her even though he towered above her short height like a damn giant?

Eartha protectively stepped in front of Reese. "Don't tell him anything, Reese,. I'm not gong to let him intimidate me!" Eartha said bravely.

"It's alright," Reese said, breaking eye contact with Emperor to look reassuringly at Eartha. Even his daughter was a little taller than Reese five foot three height, and she should be a little fearful of Emperor as he glared down at her as if he wanted to choke her, but from what she knew of he he didn't look like hewould hurt her.

Reese had come on her mother and Em talking in the hallway and ducked back to the copier room, where her mother had sent her on the first floor for a ridiculous amount of copying and now she knew why. Juanita knew he was on his way and wanted her daughter out the room.

            "It's not alright," Em sneered.

"Daddy, it's nothing," Eartha said defensively as if standing in front of Reese could protect her. "We were just joking around."

He knew his daughter well enough to know that this was another lie and he had every right to be angry with Eartha for lying to him, but she was doing it for almost the first time in a long time for a very special person. Taking his keys out of his pocket, he handed them to Eartha. "Get in the car and wait for me. Reese and I need to have a private word." Em wasn't about to let her out of his sight, damn his morals. He hadn't seen her in what felt like centuries.

            "But Daddy-"

He shot his daughter a "do it now" look and she obeyed immediately.

Immediately Reese stiffened up. "There's nothing to say," she said in her own defense. Seeing him again was making those flutters come in her stomach. The ones she constantly told herself didn't exist knowing what she must do.

"That's a lie," he said. "Do you want to discuss this in this hallway or do you have somewhere private we can talk?"

She led him back to the copier room glad most of the staff had gone for the day. All she needed was for some nosey staff person to get up to her mother's room and say, "Oh, I just saw Reese sneak in the copier room with the largest black man this side of the Atlantic Ocean."

He was close on her heels and locked the door after they entered it.

Now she was feeling claustrophobic. His presence filled the small room making it feel as if there were no room almost for her. "That isn't necessary," she said, trying to remain calm. "We have nothing to speak about, Mr. Heart.

"Oh so now we're back to being formal, Reese? Should I call you Ms. Carver to remind me how much I detest your mother?" he sneered clearly showing his anger, but at the same time yearning to find some way not to be angry at her so he could get closer and touch her. He must seem formidable to her, yet she was keeping her cool and doing that annoying thing of not looking at him directly.

Reese couldn't believe he was seriously angry with her, but she wasn't afraid. Not like she would be if her mother was angry with her. Lying the copies down on the table, she crossed her hands in front of her. "What do you want from me?"

"I want answers, Reese. I want you to tell me what the hell-" He stopped himself and bit down on his tongue. "Why did you return the items? You even returned the piece of paper with my numbers on it as if you wanted nothing to do with me. And you didn't answer any calls to that prepay phone number you gave me. Did I hurt your feelings? Did I do something wrong?

Looking everywhere but at him, she said, "I was overwhelmed and I realized that maybe hiding from my mother was not the answer to my problems. Maybe I need the control she has over me."

"That's a lie, Reese. You and I both know that."

She had rehearsed that for weeks and was very upset it hadn't worked to convince him. "You don't know the whole story, Mr. Heart, just my side."

"I know you don't deserve to be treated like shit. You're intelligent and beautiful. Just because she's your mother doesn't mean she has rights to your happiness."

That statement from him made her finally look up to meet his dark eyes. The blue hue was prevalent as the gray faded toward the middle. She was highly upset by his remark and for a moment he was upset with himself for making her feel that way, but was also glad he had said it, if it was the only thing that could get her to look at him without him forcing her like he wanted to.

"And you do?" she asked, hating that he hit the nail on the mark.

"I'm not trying to control you, Reese. I'm just-"

Suddenly, she burst into tears and this didn't sit too well with him. "You think I'm beautiful?" she asked through her tears as all of what he said really sunk into her brain.

Emperor hadn't really meant for that to come to the surface, but he had meant it. He had wanted to suppress his feelings for her because he knew how wrong it was to want her like he did and until she at least came correct with her own that was close to his.

Bashfully, he admitted, "You're nothing like your mother, Reese."

Using the back of her hand after she took off her glasses, she wiped her eyes feeling embarrassed by her lack of control. "I'm just going through some things, Mr. Heart. Things a hideaway in your backyard can't keep me from."

He stepped up to her, mesmerized by the tear that stained her cheek. She had missed it in wiping, but what had really drawn him was that she had taken off those ugly glasses.

Reese didn't move as his large hand came up to her face and tenderly gathered the tear off her cheek. It was as if she were watching herself outside her body and she couldn't move a muscle as he moved the same hand around her nape to hold it securely as his mouth dipped down and pressed firmly against hers. She felt a sort of vacuum effect as his lips suffused with hers for a very long moment and she couldn't breathe the entire time. It felt good. No, it felt wonderful to feel those delicious lips touching hers. Just like she imagined and she wanted to cry again.

His other arm moved around her waist drawing her body against his, enjoying the lithe youthful body against his large frame. He deepened the kiss in that instant by sliding his tongue into her mouth and wrapping it around hers. She tasted so sweet and he wanted more of her nectar.

Her hands rested on his shoulders and she mimicked his tongue movements becoming more and more aroused. The tingles in her belly increased to rapid fluttering and the warmness in her loins turned to lava as he overtook her senses with his mouth.

His hand continued a descent to her thigh and then started back up as they continued to kiss. She felt him push down her thick stockings and move between her legs. Just like in her fantasies he pressed his palm against her groin and his long fingers tenderly caressed her hot sensitive spot. Wantonly, she grinded her hips against his hand feeling the hot throbbing surge through her whole body.

Emperor's Addiction Chapter 4.2

Juanita left to go downstairs to start dinner, Reese dried herself off and put on a long skirt and a long sleeve shirt ignoring the blue and purple marks left on her light pale skin from yesterday's dinner. Examining them never did anything to make her feel better. Ignoring made it at least tolerable so she wouldn’t lose what last little bit of sanity she had living with this deranged woman.

Going past her mother's room on her way down, she saw her mother's journal lying on the bed. This was something she hadn’t seen since she was very young and thought it was a book to read since Reese had always been an avid reader. At that time, she had touched it and didn’t remember the rest of the day because the beating had been so bad.

Now it lay in the exact same place and a shiver of terror enveloped Reese, but defiance and curiosity hungered in her soul and just the thought that she could find out what was occupying her mother lately, when she knew that Juanita would never tell her.

Looking around her to see where her mother could be, she heard Juanita humming another song in the kitchen. Reese walked to the bed and picked up the journal, opening to the last page written in.

It happened again last night. I dreamed about him and it was a fantasy that was just like the other ones. His big strong black body covered me and kissed me and I cried his name like the king of love he is. I can't stop thinking of him and I know I will find a way to get him back to me and he'll notice that I'm not so prudish and see my sexiness and covet my mind, body and soul. He'll be all mine.

Knowing her mother lusted after a man didn't bother Reese. Juanita had lived a boisterous life before getting "religion." Neglecting her needs seemed to increase her insanity and if Reese could put a bug in that man's ear to get him to do something with her mother, she would gladly do it, but first she had to know who this man was.

He walked in as if everything was his kingdom and everyone should bow to him. I wanted very much to fall to my knees and if we were alone, I would take his staff and suck its sweet juices from him, draining his energy and making him my love slave. I thought I would never want to lay eyes on another naked man ever, but who could not resist wantoness and impure thoughts with him in their midst. He is the epitome, of sex and I crave it like no other. He brought that feeling to my loins and only he can quench its thirst. I want to be his empress, his queen, his love, because he will be my Emperor. With a name like that, reputation like his, I know I can be the only woman to satisfy his hunger.

There was no doubt in Reese's mind as she looked at the date of the journal entry knew who the man was and she closed the journal. Her mother was lusting after Emperor Heart!

Going out of the room, she paused at the top of the stairs. In her own infatuation, she never thought her own mother would have desired to be with Emperor, but he was a very handsome man. Even the most frigid woman couldn't help desiring him, but he must be use to this and she would have never guessed her mother would fall under his spell.

Resisting him would be even more difficult, because now her plans must change. Yes, she would love to hurt her mother, but not this way. She would find another man to take her virginity. She had to because her mother would kill her to know she had slept with "her Emperor."

Pushing away her own attraction for Emperor, reluctantly Reese knew what she must do for her mother.

Emperor's Addiction Chapter 4.1

Arriving home, she gasped. Juanita's car was sitting in the driveway. She couldn't have finished everything so quickly!

Preparing for anything as terror filled her, Reese got out of the car and walked in the house. Church music played loudly and her mother had lit the candles. Reese knew she was in trouble.

"So the defiant daughter decides to come home," Juanita sneered behind Reese. Her mother had been standing behind the door.

"The car broke down. The brakes-"

"You had those brakes fixed weeks ago," Juanita said cutting her off. "Turn around now, Reese."

Slowly, Reese obeyed. "I know, but they started acting up again and-" The taste was slapped out of her mouth as the back of Juanita's hand connected with her jaw.

Reese stepped back, keeping her balance, but after the third slap, she fell to the floor, screaming her lie as if this would stop her mother's beating. Juanita wasn’t usin he hand, she was using her fist. Fighting or protesting would just make it worse. Nothing would ever stop Juanita once she started.

Grabbing Reese by her bun, Juanita flung her in the living room on the couch. Madly, she screamed, "Strip, whore. Strip every piece of filthy cloth off your body."

When Reese couldn't go fast enough, Juanita punched her in the chest and tore her clothing to shreds.

"No, Mother, please," Reese begged, knowing what was next. "Please don't do this."

Juanita easily wrestled her small frame until Reese was lying on her back and her legs were forced down wide open. Not caring about her long nails on her fingers, Juanita's index finger jammed cruelly inside her daughter. Reese screamed for mercy as it felt like a hot fire scorching her insides.

Juanita felt the barrier and was satisfied. "Whores get no where in life. You remember that, Reese. Whores get nothing and I won't have one in this house."

Reese sobbed in pain and horror, closing her eyes and wishing she was somewhere far away from this wretched life she lived in.

"Get some clothes on and go pray until I call you for dinner. And don’t you ever think you can do anything without me, Reese.” She tapped her cheek.

Knowing what that meant made Reese want to throw up. Getting off the couch, Reese felt like her legs wanted to buckle at the trauma her body had just been put through. With her head downward in a meek manor, she stepped to her mother and pressed her lips against Juanita’s cold skin forcing herself not to lose the contents from her stomach. She forced herself to walk up the stairs to her bedroom and found a long ankle length white nightgown. Sobs still racked her body as she knelt down in front of her window and clasped her hands together. She did pray, but she prayed for the Lord to get her away from Juanita.

Oh her mother hid her insanity very well to others, including all those people at school, but she couldn't hide it from her daughter. As the years passed, things had become frighteningly worse around the house. Juanita felt praying cured everything and long hours of praying were often done until Reese couldn't feel her legs. If she fell asleep she was beaten, if she tried to resist, she was beaten, if Juanita didn't feel Reese was praying right, she was beaten.

Reese wanted out, but every time she tried to leave she came home because her mother
had no other family and there were no friends around to help. On top of that Juanita knew too many people in the school system whom she had either blackmailed or they owed favors to her that no one would hire Reese unless they defied Juanita. No one cared whether Reese lived or died and all she had was Juanita, so she stayed there and endured the torment praying something or someone would come rescue her. Just like those women in the romance novels she secretly read when Juanita was asleep. They had knights in shining armor and she knew with all the praying she did, she had to have one somewhere.

Concocting a plan to get away from there had been long in coming. Now that Reese was due to receive her teaching certificate soon she knew independence was just months away and she was not going to let Juanita get in her way and she was going to do all she could do to keep the peace in the house between them until Reese had her hands on the certificate.

For now, she could use Emperor Heart. He seemed to want to help even though he was doing it because he pitied her, but hopefully that would change soon. Hopefully.

Emperor's Addiction Chapter 3.2 (with story attached this time)

This time I should post the story too, huh.

That would make a lot of sense.

(hitting the top of my head)

Duh!

i starting to wonder if God is trying to tell me something whenever he makes my car breaks down whenever the gas prices goes up.

This time three valves of the four valve cyclinder stop working and the timing belt broke. I figure by next car, I'll be an official mechanic, LOL.

But catching the bus really isn't that bad for me and now the kids are getting acclamated to it... yes, even the baby.

She keeps asking when are we fixing the car, but I keep asking her why is she complaining since she can ride the bus for free.

My stimulus doesn't come until July so I wasn't even in the market and in about a week the kids are out of school. I'll just need rides to book events and so forth but other than than I really am okay. The price of bus fare hasn't changed, which is a good thing.

Nothing else is strange on the homefront except I keep having this re-occuring dream about staying in a house that's way too big with ugly gaudy furniture on the second floor that no one goes in.

Is that a sign or a metaphor?

enjoy...

Emperor knew she was behind him the whole time. He was so damn aware of her presence if she breath hard the hairs on his neck would vibrate. He was grateful for the underwear he wore because it was almost hiding the hard-on, but damn if the elastic was digging in his skin.

Leading her through the kitchen, she was taken out the back door of the house to a small bungalow style home that was connected to the two-car garage. He opened the door and led her in.

Reese could tell the furniture was new and the walls had been freshly painted.

"You just did this?" she asked amazed.

Emperor tried to hide the blush, yet seeing the pleasure in her eyes, felt so good. "I made some calls and got somebody in here to straighten up the place. I never furnished it and until now it wasn't being used. My ex and I broke up and we were going to try to stay in the same house together, but she said she couldn't sleep in my bed anymore." His tone was remorseful as he admitted. "I built this back here for her, just so she could stay, so we could continue to give Eartha a two parent home."

"It didn't work, did it?" she asked, feeling bad about how he had tried to make his marriage work.

He shook his head with a slightly painful disappointed look. "No, it didn't. I blame myself all the way. I hurt her too bad."

"I didn't mean to bring up hurtful memories, sir."

"You didn't Reese. Like I said, it's not you." He handed her an envelope. "There's the key to this place. I'm the only one that has a spare so it's really all yours and you can just use the side entrance to come in. There's an electronic opener in the envelop that opens the gate and the garage which is small enough to attach to a key chain. You can park your car in the garage just in case you don't want it on the street for your mother to see." He gave her a sneaky wink.

Reese couldn't tell if he was being nice in nature, or was this just a pity party in her favor. The latter would not sit well with her. She didn't want his compassion if that was the case.

"It'll be good if you come here the first Thursday of the month, because my mechanic comes over and does work on my car to keep it in good shape. Red will take a look at yours too." He rubbed his neck and frowned more. "Would you like me to show you around?"

She shook her head because he had that sheen of sweat on his forehead again with a great deal of agitation in his voice. "No, sir, I'll be fine. Thank you."

"Like I said, just obey my school hangout rule, no guests when I'm not here and even when I am, ask my permission first."

"I don't have any friends, Mr. Heart," she admitted.

He bit his tongue wishing she had a lot more than what she had now. "My cell phone and pager number are written on the envelope and the house phone number too. There's a phone line in the house and there is a back up cell phone in the kitchen cabinet. You can use it whenever you want or in emergencies since you have a pre-pay phone."

"How did you know I had a prepay phone?" she asked suspiciously.

"I'm in communications, Reese," he said obviously.

Reese wondered what else he had done to find out about her. Other than that, she was speechless and overwhelmed at what he had done to the place.

Em twitched his lip and licked them, gritting his teeth from the pain inching up his back. He had aggravated his spine seriously these past few weeks working out harder than he had ever done before in his life just to get rid of the pent up energy. It wasn't working, but the pain kept him focused.

"Are you okay?" she asked with concern.

"I'm fine. I'm just... He reached out and leaned on the door as a streak of pain shot up the side of his back. "Uncomfortable," he said finishing his sentence. At least it wasn't just in his pants anymore.

"Are you hurt?" she inquired, taking a step to him.

He knew his body wouldn't care about the pain if she stepped any closer. "I'm fine," he said, stepping. "I'll be in my office. I'll leave the kitchen doors unlocked when I'm here." He paused to get control of himself, really wishing his manhood would quit growing because the elastic was cutting off the circulation in his thighs yet again. "When you're not here, it'll be locked, but just write a grocery list and I'll make sure the kitchen in here is stocked as well."

"You really have done too much, sir."

Em shrugged. "It's not a problem." Turning around, he winced in sharp distress.

"It's your back," she guessed. "What's wrong with your back?"

"I aggravated an old injury. I'll be fine," he assured her, but nothing he knew he could take would make it all go away. The pain had been with him too long.

"I could try," Reese shyly offered.

Looking over his shoulder at her, he frowned hard. "What could you do?" he asked in pure disbelief.

"My mother used to work as a masseuse... and although she rarely did them, there was this woman who used to watch me, while my mother worked and she knew how to do them real well." Cracking her knuckles. "What could it hurt?"

            "My back could be worse."

She couldn't help, but laugh and covered her mouth with embarrassment. "I wasn't laughing at you," she admonished, taking his hand in hers. "Please let me try. It's the least I could do."

Em was mystified at that beautiful laugh she had graced him with. She had the laugh that would make a man want to make her do all the time. He allowed her to guide him to a chair in the dining room.

"Straddle the chair, she ordered, "And get as comfortable as you can get."

He moved with ease so use to the hot pain in his back, but gritting his teeth so he wouldn't wince. "Should I take off something?"

"No. I don't have any oil so the clothes will help with the feel of it," she said, sitting in another chair behind him. "Try to relax as best as you can."

Her fingers were firm and amazingly strong as she kneaded the muscles on his nape. Em was glad he was sitting with his back to her because she couldn't see the hardness, which now pressed against his pants in a perfect outline stretching down the middle of his thigh. He put his arm on top of it to hide it in case she leaned over.

Concentrating, she remembered all of Lela's instructions as if the fat woman was standing right to next to her. With a rhythm, Reese was able to work each muscle until it was nothing but putty in her hands. When she reached the spot she knew was bad, because his muscles were way too tight, she leaned up against him.

He could feel her breast press up against his back and her head dipped forward. "When I say take a deep breathe, could you do it?" she asked as she wrapped an arm around his waist. The side of her body pressed against the side of his back, while her other palm pressed against his spine firmly rubbing downwards slowly.

"Yes," he said breathlessly, hoping he could keep it together enough so she wouldn't notice the twitching in his pants.

            "Now," she hissed sharply.

Just as he took the deep breath, an earth-shattering ache jolted his body, but that lasted a second as the room began to spin as if there was blood draining out his back. Had she stabbed him? No, it didn't feel this good to be stabbed. His eyes were closed so tight and... was that him making that moaning noise? His face was leaning over the chair as she released her arm around his waist and massaged his entire back. It felt like he was breathing fresh air and all the pain was... gone.

"W-What did you do?" he asked, keeping his eyes closed, relishing in her touch and what she had done to him.

"You had a partial slip disc and it was pressing up against a blood vessel. I shifted it and once I got the rest of the muscles relaxed, it slipped right back in place," she explained, still moving her fingers over the brawny muscles on his back.

"Oh damn, fuck!" He covered his mouth, cursing more for cursing in front of her. "I'm sorry. I'm not used to talking... fuck." He slipped again as she found a muscle he knew for sure had never been touched before.

She giggled. "It's alright. Lela said I was a good student."

"She was damn right. You learn very well."

Proudly she said, "I'm a fast learner and I like to learn new things. Lela was a smart woman and good at what she did."

He groaned, wishing he hadn't thought about teaching her new things.

"Does it still hurt?" Reese asked, resting her hands on his broad shoulder.

Em raised his head amazed at how relax and good it felt for the first time in a long time. "No, Reese. I should go." He stood up. "Thanks. You just don't know how good it feels."

            She playfully saluted. "Any time."

He went to the door and looked back at her keeping his body from facing her. "Are you sure about that offer?"

Haughtily, she said, "The offer is always open, sir. Any time."

Em left out before he decided to try to offer something more.

As soon as he was gone, she looked around the place. There was the spacious front room, which combined the living and dining area together with the kitchen as well, but there was a counter top to separate the kitchen from the other space. Off to the side was the bathroom and the other side there was a full size bed with a dresser, television, DVD/VCR combo, and stereo system. There were balcony doors that led to another smaller Jacuzzi hidden away from the rest of the house.

She couldn't believe that he had offered this too her, but she hoped she had made it up to him by giving him her best massage. Lela's instructions had come back to her just like old times - As if the old woman was standing behind her tell her exactly what to do and how to do it - even though Reese hadn't done that in a long time.

*          *            *

Em watched the house from the kitchen doorway sipping on a gin and coke. He knew she couldn't see him if she came outside because it was furthest away from the balcony doors, but he couldn't become satisfied with just knowing she was close to him. He had to see her.

Twitching his back, feeling damn good that the pain was gone, he smiled to himself. Did she know what she had done for him? Hell, no back specialist had cured him like this. Whatever the hell she had done, he would have paid a million bucks to get.

Yet, her modest ass didn't even ask for payment. Instead, she was saying thank you for a little hole in the damn wall?

As soon as he had left the bungalow, he had gone straight to the bathroom and relieved the sexual pressure inside of him. This time had been almost as intense, but that feeling she was with him, wasn't even though she was just thirty feet away.

Reese stepped out of the door to the bungalow and went to the pool. He tried to think of a good excuse to be out at the pool and not working, but once he thought of that, what kind of conversation could he possibly carry on with someone so young? What was she interested in? Dammit, why hadn't he talked more to Eartha about her interest?

Putting the drink down, he picked up two lemonades out the fridge and walked out to the pool area where she was bending down and touching the cool water. It was going into fall and not really hot outside. But he liked to try to get a midnight swim whenever he could to exercise and to stay in shape.

"That'll be covered soon," he said, giving her a brief startle.

She stood up with a very uncomfortable look on her face. "I didn't hear you," she admitted.

"Sorry," Em said, offering her the lemonade. "I always cover it by the fall. I can still use this Jacuzzi though all winter long once I set the screen up that leads straight from the balcony. It's heated so I don't have to worry about covering up."

"Must be nice." She averted her eyes away from him just as she had done when he had first seen her.

Did she have an aversion against black men all together?

He was dying to know the answer to this question, but he didn't want to come right out and ask her. Why didn't she look at him the same way other females looked at him? Instead of addressing this he continued to speak and watch her closely to see what else she was going to do to show any kind of abhorrence toward him. "The one at the bungalow is just the same, but yours is better because it's right by the bedroom. Karen designed them." Her attention seemed to perk up a little when he spoke about his ex-wife and he thought that was curious that now turned to look at him. "She redesigned the house after we divorced for me. She had great skills in that department." It felt awkward talking to someone so young about his ex-wife, but Reese listened with honest interest. She seemed very mature, though outwardly she looked very young. In his nervousness, he swallowed down all the lemonade in four large gulps.

"It's not mine," she said suddenly.

            "What?"

"That place - the bungalow. You said yours is better. I couldn't have something like that, Mr. Heart. I probably never will."

"Is that your mother talking or you, Reese?" he asked with great disappointment.

It was her mother's voice in her head that always said she wouldn't amount to anything if she didn't do as Juanita wanted her to do and having a bungalow anywhere near Emperor Heart would never be the case. Reese didn't know any other way to think when it came to her self-confidence and even thought she knew Juanita was just trying to make her feel bad, Reese had conformed to thinking she wouldn't amount to a hill of beans. There were things she wanted, but she didn't know how to obtain it; not without Juanita telling her what she needed to do or controlling her so much that she only did what her mother wanted her to do.

Sipping her lemonade to avoid answering his question, she looked down at the water wishing she could just fall in and avoid this whole conversation. Why did she have to say things like that – showing how weak willed she was to him?

"When you speak to me, Reese, talk with me, not through your mother. She isn't here and I thought that was the reason why you came here," he said in his stern "Daddy" voice.

"I came here because..." 'I wanted a way to get close to you,' her mind screamed. Instead, her lips said, "I did want to get away from her, but she's so there and always saying things like that, I find it hard not to speak like her."

Em changed the subject. "Can you swim?"

"No," she admitted. "Mother says I don't need to learn to swim since a lady shouldn't go around scantily clad like that."

He pulled out his wallet and took out a gold credit card. "So you don't have a swimming suit?"

Shaking her head, she raised that brow gain as he handed her the card. "What's that for?"

"Buy yourself a suit and anything else you would like. You can leave it here and any time you want to get in the water, you can do so. Just leave the credit card and receipts on the counter in the house and I'll get it later."

"No," she said firmly. "I won't let you buy me things, Mr. Heart. That's not your responsibility."

Emperor had never been refused and the feeling of a female saying no to him was quite different. "I insist," he said, pressing the card to her hand.

Reese stepped back looking offended. "No. I can't do that. You've already done too much. I should go."

This time he didn't stop her from leaving and wondered if she would come back. Going in the bungalow, he saw the envelope in a drawer, but it was empty of all its contents. That was a good sign, he hoped.
