What took so long?



Since I switched flashes like three and four times during the story and bumped from a 2000 to a 2007 system the formatting was so durn whacked that I ended up almost retyping sections or reformatting several chapters. Eight chapters had no tabbing at all that carried over from the original and then sometimes in the document you're going to see misspellings in England English rather than American English (because I had to also switch templates because the one from Lulu was corrupted with lines all throughout the middle of the stories or at the ends or at any other place it just felt like putting it.)



I'm hoping it looks okay.



Now for the ones that need HTML, I'll have that ready by Thursday and post a blog that you can purchase straight through this website. I'm sorry for the wait and thank you so much for your patience.



When is the next story and what is it?



I have no idea right now, but I'm leaning heavily toward SI3.



I'm so exhausted mentally. It was like running a race for two months and not stopping and now my brain needs a long break. We'll start the next one probably in June so keep a look out for it and sign up to be notified if you haven't either through the yahoo group or on this blog itself.

Waiting on the story...

good afternoon...

yes, I said good afternoon, because I'm just getting to work.

I got a ticket about three months ago for three driving infractions and do you know i've been at the court since 8 am and just getting out.

Usually I pay for it and let it go, but this time, I thought I should fight it. plus sistah don't have the money.

I sat there for two hours waiting for the judge to even come to the court room and then I sat through case after case until my battery ran out on my laptop.

Well after everything and all the waiting, the officer threw everything out.

Completely and i was back out on the street, very late for work and with no writing done, which I had planned to upload the story by now.

Well, now i'm at work and the uploading might not be done until tomorrow. I still have to do a spell check and go over the last chapter which I typed while I was waiting for the judge and people were staring at me like I had lost my mind or was very upset as I cried.

And I'm sooooo sorry for your wait.

Yes, this will be my last post for this whole story..



the word count right now is 168K. That's a lot of free. I'll keep it all up until Monday and that's when it'll be available on Lulu for download.

I don't have to teach this weekend, so I'll spend it typing on my jornada typing like a mad monkey and finishing this bad boy out. (And no I won't rush it carmel beauty.)



I've decided after your recommendations so go with typing up three synopsis for the following books:

Mistaken Identity
Sin's Iniquity
Sex Weed
Tanner's Devil

Now I know that I have Sin's Iniquity in the editing stage although my memory is off on who i sent it to.

i'm trying to think of wrap up notes but right now I can't think of anything.

I'm kinda sad at not just at the ending of this but because i'll miss them. Don't know if i want to bring anybody back.

Oh and just in case you want to know where Onyx was before she reappeared, I have her time line down as starting on her next big case which her book is based on and she was out of town "preparing" but that'll be all explained in her story.

Tapping chin to remember any questions I needed to answer.

Oh well, my brains a slush pile. There's a migraine coming on and it might be due to the snow storm coming in again.

Now this post is just Parker working it out and stuff and really you guys can't be mad at him. He's in shock. He's not on his toes and you know in the past he's made foolish decisions and made himself look like an idiot before when it came to matters of the hearts. He's a man and he's learning. But he's also distraught and frustrated about Charisse being possibly dead.

Give him a break.

no notes today. I did read and approve your comments and gawd, I'm really getting depressed because the story is coming to an end.

BTW, I was going to get back on the query to an agent / publisher horse and start sending my work out for major publishing. I thought about it long and hard and want to make a serious investment of time in trying to get a distribution deal.

But I'd love your help in helping me choose two titles you think I should push. I want to know your favorite story. (Add it to the comments.)

You know it's amazing what i get done on the bus on the way back and forth from work. at this rate, I might never drive again as I type on my little Jornada.

People look at me while I'm typing and listening to Musiq and I ignore them because if you make too much eye contact in Detroit you're either looking for a fight or you want conversation. I want neither so I just stay to myself.

I typed this one just this morning on the bus and it was real emotional so I ended up crying while typing. I didn't go back over it to make sure it looked okay. I'm tired and exhausted. I'm really going to miss Charisse and Parker.

last night I went to see Semi-Pro.

Omg! that was something sick all together but entertaining.

I think moviegoers are expecting too much and forget that movies are just entertainment. They're starting to take things too serious. And ruining for us who still see this as just entertainment.

Anyhoo, it snowed 7 inches in detroit and it was just ugly. I hope its quiet today, but they just declared a state of emergency.

Kids stayed home from school so I'll be getting calls all day about someone hitting each other.

how the heck you guys figured how to text me is a mystery to me. (you know who you are.)

And i still have restraining orders against some others, LmAo!

Got a lot of writing done on the
bus ride home yesterday. Almost missed my stop because I was so immersed in my book. I learned how to type on my jornada with four fingers (two from each hand) and I'm pretty good at it although the spell check function is off so I don't see my errors until I transfer it to the full word version.


tanya: i'll post today. thank you for not buzzin. doesn't sitting on pins and needles hurt? i still gnaw on my nails. And yeah, when I have it set for a character to get hurt, i don't see what's in the future for them. I only see the now. Now Charisse is in a very bad situation.

Suprina: What's an HEA? My heads on backwards and i couldn't figure it out for the life of me.

yeah, you're going to kill me, but i really tried to find anotherway to get to this point and yes, the S.H.T.F. like it ain't funny.

Now you may think, well, she gotta out of the house. she could have sneaked away from Cheyenne and climbed down the stairs and hidden away and she's just going to make this beautiful appearance. Parker will sweep her up in his arms and they'll live happily ever after.
